HorseFlex Electrolytes Mix is a supplementary feed for horses to support fluid and electrolyte balance.

This mix consists of various minerals such as Sodium, Potassium, Calcium and Magnesium which are important for hydration in horses. A horse loses electrolytes daily through sweating, urination and faeces. It is good to keep this fluid and electrolyte loss balanced. With electrolyte deficiency, your horse is less able to retain fluids, the elasticity of the skin decreases and stamina declines.

During periods of exertion, such as competitions and training, a horse can lose significantly more electrolytes, especially when it is very hot. A horse's body cannot retain water without the presence of electrolytes. Adding these electrolytes to the drinking water ensures that both fluids and electrolytes remain well balanced.
